We understand how powerful the healing from listening to music can be. And our love for music is a foundational block of Fruit Slab with every team member having some musical background in areas of dj’ing, music production, talent management, music video development, and/or professional singing & songwriting. With this powerful force, we use it every day to stay balanced and it is my honor to introduce our next feature.

I proudly present:

NINA GRAE

The Voice of a Healer

“We are living in dark times - let our love for one another be the light to guide us to brighter days.”

What do you stand for?

Nina Grae is a professional singer-songwriter in Los Angeles. She is known as a continual spark of light by the community that she effortlessly grows wherever she goes. Once you hear her sing, you will genuinely believe in the power of the song - Her energy is warm and welcoming with a powerful voice that will bring you to your knees. Nina was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and she came Earthside, quite literally “grae”. This powerful transition has carried into her creative development and is showcased in the experience her songs take you through.

Nina will be singing at Agape Spiritual Center this Sunday, February 7th, 2021.

My voice brings a sense of sovereign power in moments I’m feeling ‘small’ and a nourishing sweetness to my soul in times of stress and dis-ease.

Nina offers 1 on 1 sessions in which she helps you sing from your soul. Helping you become confident and courageous in singing for yourself and maybe one day, if it’s what you really want, singing for other people. With her help, you can unlock your “treasure chest” and connect to your voice.

Her website reads: “Here’s the deal: I whole-heartedly believe that singing, speaking, and music-making has a deeply healing and cathartic role to play in our lives. The psychological benefits alone are staggering. When we move out of the ‘what do other people think of me’ mind-space and step into the ‘what am I feeling in this moment’ heart-space, a whole new world opens up for us vocally. And, quite ironically, once we locate and sing/speak from this space within, people naturally become drawn to the sound of our song. Because it’s real.”

In honor of black history month, I’m opening up three 1-1 spaces *plus 1 free space for a Black sister Queen* for womxn who are ready to reclaim their vocal gifts, step out from behind the mask, and step INTO their most authentic + creative + soulful VOCAL EXPRESSION.

Nina represents what it means to be a conscious creator and embodies this with her work throughout the community with event curation, guided meditative soul sessions, and her amazing attention to detail in her lyrics. We encourage anyone who loves music to reach out and explore the multi-faceted being, Nina Grae. Her Patreon is a place where you can support her creativity and propel yourself into a new perspective.

“Patreon is the platform where I'll exclusively release #MusicMakingMonday videos each week, as well as build bridges for deeper connection with you via custom videos, 1-1 sessions, live-stream concerts, and exclusive invites to live SoulJam gatherings when we all come back together again.

Any collaborations I embark on through Patreon will directly support BIPOC creatives and emerging women leaders. Period. Musicians, photographers, cinematographers, stylists, visionaries, writers, illustrators, dancers and musicians. These are my colleagues. These are my friends. We are BIPOC. We are women. Your patronage will compensate our talent + brilliance directly!

Whether you’re looking to feel more confident guiding meditations, you want more authentic ‘flow’ in your writing voice, or you just want to feel more comfortable speaking up + sharing your vocal 💎’s in Clubhouse rooms... you deserve to feel the embodied power of your unique voice. It’s a gift that grows in richness the more you give it away 🕊

We are inspired by Nina and hope you are as well.
