Nina Grae is a professional singer-songwriter in Los Angeles. She is known as a continual spark of light by the community. Then once you hear her sing, you will genuinely believe in the power of song, if you didn’t already! Nina was born with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and she came Earthside, quite literally “grae”. This powerful transition has carried into her creative development and is showcased in the experience her songs take you through.

This album is the sonic embodiment of our lives. It’s the essence of the black experience in America. Hug Your Brother was inspired by humble beginnings - to our journeys becoming men. This album is dedicated to triumph and self-awareness. With HYB we wanted to provide the soundtrack to black love and unity in a time when it’s most needed. Our message is: take care of each other, forgive, be grateful, and ambitious.
