Walking into the 4 stories Marina Mansion I didn't know what to expect. That's when I met Jamil Taylor showcasing his photography work with rapper Mr. Criminal. Instantly intrigued I kept an eye on Jamil and followed what he was creating. I was lucky enough to be behind his camera and I am delighted to bring you today’s feature: We are sharing and spotlighting:

The photobook I saw Jamil showcasing was his own book. Born To Shoot. The Deluxe version is a 153-page photo documentary that gives the COMPLETE experience shooting the entire duration of the creation of the “Born 2 Rap” album. Captured and developed by Jamil Taylor this book documents the creation of musical artist The Game's final studio album "Born 2 Rap". Captured over the course of 13 months, this exclusive limited-edition hardcover coffee table book gives you a glimpse of the authentic relationships developed during the journey to Born 2 Rap.

Jamil told us about building homes in places where people were living in extreme conditions, but even as they were seemingly were in trouble, they had a grateful attitude because they were grateful to be alive. This resonated with him and his experience aligned with his creative fuel and sparked Always Good. (We are just going to go ahead and call it an Empire).
It came from living and having an appreciation for life no matter what, simply because It's Always Good that you're alive. There are no dogmas or religious ties to this belief system but the pure faith that being alive is genuinely, always good. - Always Good is an authentic brand that stands to promote the daily appreciation of life, no matter the circumstances.”
